FLOWFORMING
Innovation in wheel manufacturing
Flowforming is a manufacturing process that allows us to create wheels that are lighter, stronger and with optimal performance. This technology ensures superior quality by combining the benefits of forged and cast wheels to offer the best of both worlds.
- How does FLOWFORMING work?
- Advantages of FLOWFORMING
- The process begins with a cast rim which then undergoes a stretching process while spinning on a specialized lathe.
- During this process, pressure is applied to the outer roller which spreads and compresses the material.
- This stretching and compression not only reduces the weight of the tire but also significantly improves its strength.
- Reduced weight: Flowforming technology allows our wheels to be much lighter, which translates into an improvement in the overall performance of the vehicle.
- Greater resistance: Thanks to this process, the wheels have a more compact structure, which makes them more resistant to impacts and torsion.
- Performance optimization: Lower weight means less effort on the engine, improving fuel efficiency and the car’s maneuverability.
- Improved safety: Being more resistant, our wheels are ideal to withstand high demand conditions both on the road and on the track.
1: CAST
Cast into a unique shape for flow molding. It is molded with stretch unlike other products that are molded into the shape of products.
2: SPINNING
WITH THE APPLICATION OF EXTENSIVE HEAT, THE EDGE SECTIONS ARE STRETCHED USING EXCLUSIVE TURNING EQUIPMENT.
3: POST SPINNING
THE MACHINING IS PROCESSED AND THEN THE PAINTING IS PROCESSED TO CONVERT IT INTO THE FINAL PRODUCT
